whether anyone actually watches the sequel without watching the first? Well, I did. In fact, I’d even done it twice! Well, I met up with Melody, SE & Si Wai (Again?!) for a movie on 7th December . It’s a rather last minute thingy so I was kinda late for the meeting. Wells, SE wanted to watch Avatar but that movie will only be out on 17th December so we changed to watching New Moon instead. Haha. When Mel called me in the morning to ask if I would join them for the movie, I think that they would most likely be watching this since there ain’t any nice movies to watch, as to what we had discussed last week during the meet-up. The interesting thing is that I didn’t even watch Twilight and there I went to watch New Moon with them -.-” So, you can pretty much guess how much things I actually knew/didn’t know when I was watching the movie. And, that wasn’t the first time! My first time was back in…P6 I think, when I went to watch 无间道II with Poh Poh, Steph, Ming Tong & Hui Qi, again, without watching the first movie, 无间道. Well, for Twilight, at least I made the effort to find it & watch it earlier on so I roughly know how the story goes now but for 无间道, even after watching all the 3 movies, I still, up till now, don’t know the message that the whole series is trying to convey.
Enough of that. Let me talk a bit more about the meeting instead. Wells, the movie ticket was free for SW, Mel & me ‘cos SE wanted to treat us before he actually went in for his NS service which’s on 8th December! Steph couldn’t join us due to reason cited as compassionate grounds. According to Mel, SE & SW invited Audrey to join us for the movie ‘cos they saw her at Amk Hub earlier on while waiting for Mel & I to get there but she rejected the offer upon hearing that we were gonna watch New Moon as she didn’t wanna watch that. After I reached Amk Hub, we all went down to the basement for SE wanted to get an ice-cream. While we were on our way to the ice cream stall, SE & Mel gave me a souvenir each ‘cos SE went to Korea for holiday while Mel went to Cambodia for study trip. SE gave me a handphone strip while Mel gave me a notebook which the cover is wooden. I like their gifts a lot, thanks! (:
Well, while SE was waiting for his turn to buy the ice-cream, I was telling him about how reluctant my mother was in letting me to meet them that day ‘cos my mother has always not wanted us to go out with the opposite sex till we graduate from our studies. She didn’t want us to get into relationships before we complete our studies and this made SE really puzzled ‘cos I told him before that my mother also didn’t wish for me to become a lesbian next time so somehow, this’ rather contradicting. I seriously don’t understand why my mother doesn’t allow me to have male friends at all. I think having male friends is fine. Besides, networking is very important in today’s world and knowing more friends will definitely be able to help me in 1 way or another in the future. Whatever that is, I’m not gonna care and still make friends with guys whom I think are decent but as for the relationship part, I don’t wanna think too much now since I like the situation now, with my freedom & time to do what I like.
I guess it’s time to end off the post since I don’t know what else to add on into this post. Haha. Adios!
P.S. I actually wrote almost the whole entry on the day after the meet-up but I was lazy to complete the whole entry so I waited till now when I feel more like blogging to finish it up & post. Also, I think SE will be released home for the first time on this Thursday! Haha. I wanna see his botak head! XD
