Yo~ I’m back to post again. I’m beginning to doubt that anyone actually comes to this blog & view my entries at all ‘cos there’s been no comments being left behind at all! Haha. It’s alright. In fact, it may just be good since I can have this little space all to myself & don’t have to really care about others’ feelings & write whatever I want (: Wells, since it’s supposed to be a random post, I’ll just talk about anything that I can think of at the back of my mind.
Wells, how’s Christmas? My Christmas was pretty ok ‘cos I’d my dinner with my maternal relatives which’s a first for my maternal side since all along, my family’s been celebrating Christmas with my paternal relatives annually. However, this year’s dinner’s been changed to 26th December instead of the usual dinner on Christmas day & I was pretty surprised with that. Before I went to my cousin’s, Pei Jing, house for dinner, his father brought my family to the Pasir Ris Park. My family had intended to sorta have a family outing since we hadn’t had 1 for long. However, the weather wasn’t helping us and it rained quite soon after we got off and reached the place. Hence, we had no choice but to go back to the car and cancel the outing. Instead, we took up PJ’s dad’s suggestion to go to a fish farm to look at fishes since my mother keeps fishes at home and they like fishes. Then, when we reached there, we went to look at a lot of fishes. 1 of the fishes that we saw was really huge. I forgot the species name but according to the information, it could grow to 4-5 metres long! And, it bites so there’s a warning sign telling people not to put the hand inside the water. Another species of fishes which brought me back memories was Koi fish ‘cos I remembered that when I was younger, my mother used to keep these fishes when we were still living at our Yishun old flat. And, they were really big & beautiful but a pity that they were given away when we were moving our house to Amk. After which, PJ’s dad used $4 to make my sister ‘cos he went to rent the net & the small pail to let my sister catch the small fishes for half an hour. He certainly knows what makes a little kid happy, huh? Initially, she tried to use the net to catch some fishes but to no avail. Hence, PJ’s dad & my mother started to use their hands (what the…?!) to catch the fishes instead. Though they weren’t supposed to be doing that, they managed to catch most of the fishes that my sister got!! Amazing, huh? :O
After which, we went to have our dinner & then, my brother & I went to PJ’s house in her dad’s car while the rest of them went home with my mother as my mother had to wait for my CCK Aunt to come over to roast (is it the correct word to use? O_o) the turkey for the dinner since my place’s the only place that’d got a big oven of all the maternal relatives. When we reached her house, there were only my brother, her dad, my maternal grandmother & me in the WHOLE house, to my disappointment. I thought PJ might be at home & we could go & play basketball since I’d brought extra clothings to bathe after playing basketball. Apparently, the rest of the people only came at close to 7pm so we eventually didn’t get to play the ball at all. After the dinner, all the guys went into PJ’s room and started their mass gaming of dota together (=.=).
I shall move on to something else since quite a lot’s been said about how I spent my Christmas Day. Well, I’d been looking for jobs for the past few weeks ‘cos if I actually make it to the local universities with my results, the school will probably only start in August for me. Thus, it’ll be a good long 8 months of hols! I can’t be just shakin’ my legs at home, doing nothing. However, the job hunt for the past few weeks hadn’t been good ‘cos I didn’t manage to get a job. And, I missed 1 good opportunity ‘cos Universal Studios had atcually conducted interviews on 5th & 6th December but I didn’t know about it! If I’d known & gone for the interview, I would have gotten the job as the attraction ride operator 
But whatever that is, I gotta look ahead & keep finding jobs. I went for an interview at Changi Airport today to work as a waitress at the VIP Lounge. They said I had to wait for 10 days for the Pass & if I managed to get the job, they would call us then. That means I gotta wait for 10 days & what if I don’t get it after the 10 days? I think I’m just gonna continue with my job hunting & see how it goes when the thing comes.
That’s all for the job part. Well, I’d been saying before A Levels that if I would practise my piano after the exams but till now, I haven’t touched the piano a single bit :/ I guess that’s because of the fear I have in me. If you guys don’t know, my sight reading’s actually very bad. Hence, I’m very bad at playing pieces. But, I think I’m gonna start practising with scales first since I think being able to play scales well will be able to ensure that the playing is good, with good sightreading (duh). And, I have really made up my mind this time round to start practising tomorrow.
Alright. I shall end off this post for now. I’ll continue with another post right after this ‘cos I still have some stuff which I wanna blog on but it’ll be too much for this entry so I’ll post it on the next.
